PSALM 46:1

"God is our refuge and strength,

always ready to help in times of trouble."

 

We find this hard to believe

 that God is ‘always ready to help 

in times of need.'

 

We are so busy in living our human life

to the fullest

that we cannot 'be still and know that I am God.'

 

God's love is an everlasting love

that knows no barriers

of human time or space.

He is always ready to help.

 

With our minds

we cannot believe this truth

but with our hearts we crave to believe it.

 

Jesus' promise to us is that

 ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.'

 

The Triune God

is always operating

outside of our human time barriers.

 

It is not for us to decide

if our small troubles

are insignificant to God. 

 

He never ceases to be our everlasting, loving God.
