SEEDS FOR HARVESTING 7-11

Gal 5:6
"What is important is faith expressing itself
in love."

If our faith is not permeated with Godly love
then we have lost our way.
These words are so important for us
in our walk with God.

It is easy for us to find encouragement
in our growth in faith by what we do
and not in whom we trust

Is it true that, for us,
God speaks to others through things we do
more than in what we believe?

Our faith begins and ends in God.
It was faith that drew us to him,
and it will be faith
that carries us into the kingdom.
"What is important is faith."

I believe that whatever God says to us,
or does for us, is cocooned in his love.
The same is true for us.
Whatever we do or say to others
must be expressed in love.
Love can reach out and heal more hurts
than our actions.

It is God's grace, alive in us,
that helps our faith to grow.
But faith without love
is like "a noisy gong and clanging symbol."
