SEEDS FOR HARVESTING 6/24

Isaiah 46:4
"I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you."

These words have the ring of eternity about them.
"I will sustain you" and "I will rescue you."

This is God speaking to us, our children and grandchildren,
as He has spoken to all those who have gone before us.
If you don't believe in an eternal God
then do not read any further.

"I am He" and "I am the alpha and omega,"
are words that ring through the eternity of God's time
and not just contained in the scriptures.
That our whole birth, life and existence
are in His care and keeping
should fill us with peace and joy.
He has promised that He will "carry, sustain and rescue" us.

These words ring true
when I read them in Luke 1
concerning John the Baptist;
"and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit
whilst yet in his mother's womb."

To understand the significance of what we read
we must free ourselves of the bondage of our humanity.
God was involved in our humanity
even before we were born.

Therefore He will "carry, sustain and rescue" us
in spite of our doubts and mistakes
and what we do with our life.
