Coromandel Valley Uniting Church have provided a Lenten resource for 2017 based on what Martin Luther called the book of Romans - ‘the Purest Gospel’. In the preface to his commentary he wrote , “ It is well worth a Christian's while not only to memorize it word for word but also to occupy himself with it daily, as though it were the daily bread of the soul. It is impossible to read or to meditate on this letter too much or too well. The more one deals with it, the more precious it becomes and the better it tastes” Many have tasted and seen that the Lord is good through their engagement with Romans. That’s our hope for you.

Please note: Each Sunday is intentionally left blank as a word will be shared at the worship service at CVUC and people encouraged to write their own notes from the material provided at this time. You may like to prepare your own reflection for the particular Sundays in Lent.
