SEEDS FOR HARVESTING 8/16

Ephesians 5:30: We are members of his body."

Every time we partake
of the elements at Holy Communion
we reminds ourselves of these words of Paul.

Our deepest heartache is
when we find others
misleading us concerning
our understanding
of the word of God.

What a joy it is to be able to say
with conviction, that
first, we are members of the Body of Christ
and answerable to the triune God
before we are answerable to others.

Jesus tells us
that we now have direct access
to the Father, through the Son, by the Spirit.

There are times when we find it difficult
to accept this fact
because of our feelings of unworthiness
to approach the throne of grace.

Let us always remember
that it is Jesus who says to us
"Your sins are forgiven you.
Go in peace."
