SEEDS FOR HARVESTING 7-45
Luke 2:10
"Behold I will bring you good news of a great JOY".

The angel called the birth of Jesus "news of great JOY".
Thousands of years before Jesus was born the prophets of old
declared to us the rich promises of this great JOY.

Zephaniah 3:17
"He will exult over you with JOY,
He will be quiet in his love.
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy".

Isaiah 35:10
"The ransomed of the Lord will return,
with everlasting JOY upon their heads.
They will find gladness and JOY"

Isaiah 9:6-7
"A child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
and his name shall be called
wonderful counselor, mighty God,
everlasting Father, prince of peace".

All these rich promises have actually come to pass.

Luke 1:25
"The Holy Spirit shall come upon you,
and the power of the most high will overshadow you,
and for that reason you,
the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God."

Luke 2:14
"Glory to God in the highest"

May the birth of our Saviour
fill our hearts and minds with JOY in believing
during this Christmas season.
