SEEDS FOR HARVESTING 7-22

Psalm 52:8
"I trust in God's unfailing love
forever and ever."(NLT)

Here is a verse that can live for us
each moment of each day.
More than this, it needs to be hidden away
in our subconscious minds
so that even on our death bed
it will come automatically
into our minds and hearts.
These words need to become living words for us.

Let us first concentrate on the words "Unfailing love".
Think of the most catastrophic thing that can happen to us,
our loved ones, or the world.
These events will not separate us from God's care.
His "unfailing love" will always circumvent worldly events.

And what about these words "forever and ever".
It is not possible for us to relate these words
to anything in our lives
because only God lasts forever.
But we can say, and believe, with all our hearts,
that God will always be
from everlasting to everlasting.

Jesus knew
without a shadow of doubt
that the humiliation
and suffering of the cross,
could not separate him from
God, his heavenly father
and his "unfailing love".
